How to use the Search Function:

• Search function is NOT case sensitive
• Entering information in the “Keyword Search” field searches against all fields
  • Ex. If you enter “Passive”, results will include all resources with the word “Passive” in the name, as well as any resources with “Passive” in the category
• Resource Name:
  • Ex. Select “Contains” from the dropdown and enter the name of the resource you’re looking for (and if we don’t have if, fill out the contact form and let us know!)
• Description:
  • Ex. Select “Contains” from the dropdown and enter words you expect to find in the description (ex. passive house, ENERGY STAR, etc.)
• Resource:
  • Ex. Select “Contains” from the dropdown and enter the filename or file type (.pdf, .xls) to find the resource you’re looking for
• Categories:
  • Ex. Select “Contains” from the dropdown and enter the categories related to the topics you’re interested in.
    • You can enter multiple categories, separated by a comma. Ex. “passive, design” will return all resources with “passive” AND “design”.
    • Other categories include, but at not limited to:
      • PV
      • Water heating
      • DWH
      • Solar
      • Renewable energy
      • Existing homes
      • HVAC
      • Commissioning
      • Construction management
      • Affordable housing
      • Building science
